I think this has been going on for a long time, but it still seems like a bug to me, so I guess this is the thread to put it in?
Anyhow, I didn’t realize this until I was using Google messages:
On pixel phones, you can pretty easily share a voicemail just by hitting the share button. If you select Signal from the share menu, the audio files loads up and you can send it to whoever you please.
In Google Messages though, it loads not only the audio file, but also the full transcript. Google Messages has the ability to transcribe audio messages, but this isn’t that, since it’s doing it instantly and before the message is even sent.
So it seems like signal is not loading all of the details from the share intent, since it’s missing the transcript when you click share on a voicemail.
